FUNCTION ROOMS

At Corinthian Conventions Centre, we have a number of rooms available for your special event and we have onsite Event Co-ordinators available to help you.  The available function rooms are detailed below.


North Lounge 13North Lounge

The largest of our three function rooms (660 sqm), the North Lounge can accommodate up to 500 people depending on your event layout.

This room has a large bar at one end which will comfortably serve up to 250 people and a mobile bar unit may also be included at an additional location in the room for larger events.

Dance flooring and staging are available and can be positioned in any area of the room.
If you like the North Lounge for your event but feel it may be larger than necessary for the number of people attending we have screening which can be added to ensure a more intimate feeling to the space.

Maybe you are wanting to organise a musical event or large conference and require an area which is larger than the North Lounge.  For these events the North Lounge may be opened up to fully include the South Lounge providing a large amount of additional space.

The North Lounge has two overhead projectors and a wall mounted television which can all be used simultaneously to project your images or video clips onto large wall mounted screens.

South Lounge 1South Lounge

The South Lounge (300 sqm) is smaller than the North Lounge and suitable for gatherings of up to 200 people depending on your preferred layout.  This room is often chosen for evening events as there are fewer outside windows than either the North or East lounges.

A mobile bar is available for your South Lounge event as well as dance flooring and staging positioned where you require.  A projector and mobile screen are available on request.

The South Lounge may be opened up to combine with either the North Lounge or the East Lounge if additional space is required for your function.

East LoungeEast Lounge

The East Lounge (250 sqm) is slightly smaller than our South Lounge but is also able to accommodate 150 people in comfort.  A bright and welcoming room allowing light from the outside in through multiple windows, the East Lounge is a good choice for your daytime events.

As with the other lounges a mobile bar is available as well as staging and a dance floor.  A projector and mobile screen are available on request.

Full catering services are available in this lounge.

The East Lounge may be opened up to combine with the South Lounge if your function requires additional space.

Science Fair North South Lounges-webCombined North, South & East Lounges

The combined space provided when these three rooms are opened into one, gives an area which can accommodate up to 1000 people.

This large space is ideal for large weddings, conferences, promotions, educational fairs, commemorations, reunions, graduations and more.

As noted above, a mobile bar is available as well as staging and a dance floor.  A projector and mobile screen are available on request.

Full catering services are also available in the combined lounges.

 


Boardroom - main-webThe Boardroom

The Boardroom is the smallest of our rooms available for hire.

Well suited for interviews and small boardroom style meetings of up to 15 people, this room can also be used as a breakout space if your event is using one of our other lounges.

A projector and mobile screen are available in this room on request.

Full catering services are also available for your Boardroom function.

 

 


Bar Facilities

143-11JHC GradDinner0233Enjoy the luxury of having a professionally staffed bar included in the price of your room hire.  Complementing our three outstanding event lounges are three fully equipped bars. Two of these are mobile giving you flexibility to set up bar service in a choice of location in the room where you are holding your event.

Let our fully trained bar staff set up before and pack up after your event, leaving you free to enjoy your function without the worry of attending to your guests’ empty glasses. We stock a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as non-alcoholic beverages for all tastes.  If we don’t have your preferred brand of refreshments we are happy to order them in for you.  Several payment options are available including a bar tab or cash bar. Member’s rates may apply also. Contact us if you would like to discuss your options for providing refreshments for your guests.

The capacity of any of the rooms will alter depending if bars, staging or dance floor areas are required.  Talk to us beforehand to decide your preferred furniture layout.
